Past O'Reilly Scholars / P Brady

Mr. Paul Brady, from Dublin, graduated from Harvard Law School with an LLM in 2008 and is currently reading for a Doctorate in Law at Balliol College, Oxford. He also holds a First Class Honours degree in Philosophy from University College Dublin, a Masters in Legal and Political Theory from University College London, and is a graduate of King’s Inns. A former recipient of the NUI Pierce Malone Award in Philosophy, he has given tutorials, seminars and lectures at Griffith College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin in the fields of constitutional law, jurisprudence and medico- legal ethics respectively. He is a co-author of the book "Psychiatry and the Law" (2nd edition, Blackhall, Dublin, 2010). On completion of his doctorate, Paul hopes to combine legal practice with further academic work and involvement in national public life as a policy advisor or commentator. He is married with one daughter.
